  • International Yoga Day 2017
    On 21st June 2017 SPIS celebrated the International Yoga Day by hosting a special assembly coordinated by the Yoga Instructor of the school, Ms. Smitha.
  • 17th Annual Day Celebrations Mendeleev @150
    Recognising 2019 as the International Year of Periodic Table of Chemical Elements, St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery emblazoned its 17th annual day on Nov 23, 2019 with the theme ‘MENDELEEV @ 150,’ commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Periodic Table organised by the Russian scientist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev. The prestigious ceremony started with the invocation led by the school choir. Master Sohail Sanjay Moideen, the conscientious School Captain, welcomed the gathering with integrity. Mr. George K.V, Principal of SPIS expounded the school annual report 2019 – 2020 and extolled the tremendous efforts of the management, staff and students in bringing about the growth and development of the school. In his Presidential Address, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, Director of SPIS, stressed on the importance of Science at all stages of learning and careers. The chief guest, honourable Mrs. Justice Mary Joseph, High Court of Kerala, inaugurated the function and ignited the audience with her inspiring words. The honourable Justice acclaimed the efforts of the management and students as they excelled in both scholastic and co-curricular activities. She communed that “Every annual day programmes are a platform to improve the flair of the students, rectifying the gaffes of the previous year. The students should stick on to their traditional belief system and moral values imparted to them by their parents and teachers and should fight against the oddities. Every child should be well equipped to face the challenges of childhood, adolescence and teenage; they should be vigilant while using the media and also be trained to live as social beings, reforming the society with responsibility.” Drawing a difference between the olden and modern era, the Justice urged the Paulians to ensure academic growth by exploiting the fortuity of the age. The guest of honour, Very Rev. Msgr. Mathew Ilanjimittam, Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly, launched the New School Logo and blessed the gathering with his humble words. The Msgr. marveled at the theme selected for the year. He communed that the school has left no leaf unturned to portray the acme of internationalism and empowered the students to work hard and utilize to the maximum, the opportunities provided to them. It was a defining moment for the Paulians to receive their trophies and medals from the dignitaries for their outstanding performance in academics and co-curricular activities. As a token of gratitude Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro honoured the chief guests with the mementos. The formal function came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Kumari Navya Vijay, Captain of Andes House. The audience was taken aback with the enticing show of the Junior Music Band of SPIS, along with the performance of the youngest music composer and melodious singer, the Sakalakala Vallabhan fame, Kumari Shreya S. Ajith. The aspirants of SPIS, unveiled the mystery of the theme and emoted their challenging skills equaling the professionals. The dance variants enthralled the viewers. The theme song released by SPIS was another arresting feature. Ms. Suby V. George, the programme coordinator delivered the vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the national anthem.

    Arjun. R. Nair, a student of Class VIII B of St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery has been short listed in the Kerala State under 14 cricket team. He was the Vice-Captain of the Ernakulam District Cricket team.
  • SEMINAR ON KATHAKALI
    Kathakali is one of the major forms of Classical Indian Dance. It is a 300 year old dance drama from the South Indian State of Kerala.
  • Christmas Celebration – 2019
    Christmas was celebrated with great fervour and festivity on 21st December, 2019. Mesmerising, joyful and sweet carols presented by the lovely Santas enthralled the audience. The Presidential address was delivered by the Director of the school, Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro. In his address, he reminded the students about the true message of Xmas - loving, sharing, praying and the family bonding. In his message the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. thanked the management, teachers, parents, students and non-teaching staff members for the achievements of the school. He advised the students to have positive attitude in life. They should love and help each other. The highlights of the function was the well- conceived skit about Jesus. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
  • CELEBRATION OF MATHRU BHASHA DIWAS ON 21st FEBRUARY
    Mathrubhasha Diwas was observed in St. Paul’s International School on 21st February to instill the value of mother tongue amongst the students. A special assembly was organized on this day for the classes from 1 to 12. After the prayer special pledge in Malayalam was administered by the selected student of each class and the same was repeated earnestly by the other students. Department of Malayalam made a video presentation. This was played in every class. It was a visual treat in mother tongue. Various competitions are organized on this day giving importance to the mother tongue Malayalam and the students participated in them very enthusiastically. The celebration enabled to create awareness about the cultural diversity and tradition spread around the world.
  • INAUGURTION OF GRADE XI
    The inaugural ceremony of Grade 11 of St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery was held at 11am on 14th June 2021 in the virtual platform. The inauguration began with the singing of a hymn by Liya Maria Pearl. Mrs. Susan Jacob, Teacher, welcomed the gathering. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Director of the school Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro. In his inaugural address the director instigated the students to hold on to the things which are certain by giving utmost importance to every moment, so that the uncertainty of the pandemic time can be challenged with greater confidence. Principal Mrs. Sheila Xavier reiterated the children to make use of every opportunity presented to them. Mr. C. C Raphael, the manager of the school and Mrs. Deepa, School Co-ordinator also were present for the inaugural function. Mrs. Maria Lincy, Teacher, proposed vote of thanks. The ceremony wound up at 12 pm with National Anthem. It was a fruitful and inspiring event.
  • An industrial visit to Kerala Startup Mission
    An industrial visit to Kerala Startup Mission by St. Paul's InternationalSchool, Kalamassery on 14.01.2022. Around 43 students from class IX -XII were kaken from the school by around 11 . 00 am. Mr. Nasif , the resource person explained about Kerala Startup Mission. He helped us to know more on KSUM. He explained to us that KSUM is the central agency of the Government of Kerala for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in Kerala. KSUM was foundede to undertake the planning, establishment and management of Technology business incubator. Mr. Nasif also explained the main goals of KSUM and later he took us to visit the campus where Fab lab, Super Fab lab etc were shown. As a whole the visit was really informative as it helped us to know more on KSUM.
